The human body has been depicted in art for hundreds of thousands of years, from religious paintings to politics. For thousands of years, art has solely focused on physical forms, the most valid form of human achievements, but what can medical scans show of the human body? Through layerings of these medical scans, I hope to bring to light the beauty of what is seen to be the “wrong version of the human body.” I wish to show the wonders behind the body through tumors, broken bones, and even brain scans.
